Group Tours and Tastings

Please note we do not offer regular public tours but we would be delighted to arrange a private tour and tasting for groups of ten or more people.  These tours are only available by appointment and must be booked a minimum of 48 hours in advance.

We are happy to be able to offer the following tour and tasting packages for your private group:

Cattail Creek Introduction Package - $7.00 per person

This is a great tasting to introduce people to Cattail Creek Estate Winery.  The tour, lead by one of the owners, starts in the vineyard (weather permitting), followed by a tour through our tank and barrel cellars.  The tour is completed by a tasting of four wines (white, rosé, red and late harvest) in either the tank or barrel cellar.

Cattail Creek Icewine Package - $9.00 per person

Same as the Cattail Creek Introduction Package but the wines tasted are a white, a rosé, a red and an Icewine.

Chocolate and Wine Package - $12.00 per person

Want something a little different?  Experience our chocolate and wine tasting.  After a tour through our vineyard (weather permitting), tank cellar and barrel cellar, taste three different styles of Belgian chocolates matched by a sommelier to different wines.  Please confirm group numbers 7 days in advance.

Cheese and Wine Package - $15.00 per person

The tour starts in the vineyard (weather permitting), followed by a tour through our tank and barrel cellars.  The tour is completed by a tasting of four wines (white, rosé, red and select late harvest) in either the tank or barrel cellar accompanied by a selection of local artisanal cheeses.  Please confirm group numbers 7 days in advance.

Winemaker's Tasting Package - $40.00 per person

For something extra special why not take a tour of the winery and barrel cellar with our winemaker?  This special tour and tasting takes you through the vineyards (weather permitting), production and the barrel cellar.  This tour is accompanied by a tasting specially selected by our winemaker and will include new and unreleased wines.  Obviously this selection will change depending on availability and will give a unique look at what goes on in the background at Cattail Creek.

Proprietor's Tasting Package - $40.00 per person

Want an intimate insight into winemaking in Niagara?  This tour and tasting takes you through the history of winemaking in Niagara from 1956 when we planted our first family vineyard to what it is like today.  Visit our vineyards (weather permitting) and our winery, see our production methods and taste our wines.  This tour is accompanied by a tasting of wines specially selected by either Roselyn or Andrew to best show off what it is we pride ourselves of here at Cattail Creek, making the best wines possible from what Mother Nature gives us.
